Q: How the service works?
A: The service collects publically available, online information from more than 15 various sources, combines it using proprietary formula and calculates average income, certain website can produce by displaying advertising ads.

Q: What kind of information the service collects?
A: Number of backlinks and indexed pages from major search engines: Google, Yahoo, Altavista and Bing.
Global ranks from ranking providers: Alexa, Google, Compete and Quantcast.
Various info from popular, online social media: Delicious, Digg, Reddit, StumbleUpon and DMOZ.
And, of course, the public information from evaluated website.
Please note: the service is not automated, meaning it does not run all the time in the background and collects data, it works 'on demand', when user enters domain name and clicks the 'Estimate' button, only then the service starts to collect data and for entered domain only.

Q: Are those numbers real?
A: Yes and no. The numbers of backlinks, indexed pages, ranking, bookmarks, reviews, articles, categories are real. But numbers of daily visits, daily pageviews, daily ads revenue and overall worth are only estimations, and should not be taken as an exact numbers to value the company behind certain website.

Q: How accurate are the estimations?
A: All estimations are only estimations and, of course, not 100% accurate. But it can give you pretty good picture about the popularity of the website.
Also, the estimations do not represent the real value of the company that owns the website, it just calculates the average income the website can generate by displaying advertising ads. One should never use the above estimations as a reference for buying website or making any other commitment.
